Dear Calvary Christian Center Family,
Our hearts go out to all those who have been adversely affected by the Eaton Canyon fires. In times like these, the loss of homes, cars, and other possessions can feel overwhelming. Yet even in the midst of such trials, we are reminded of the unshakable hope we have in God. Psalm 46:1 tells us, "God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble." Though we may face great loss, we are never alone. God's promises are steadfast, and His presence is a source of peace and strength when the world around us feels uncertain.
This is a time to lean into our faith and into the support of our church family. Together, we can find comfort in God's Word, which reminds us that our true treasure is in heaven (Matthew 6:20) and that all things work together for the good of those who love HIm (Romans 8:28). Let us also draw strength from the fellowship of one another. We are here to support you in prayer and encouragement, and practical help. Please don't hesitate to reach out if there are specific needs we can meet. We are committed to walking this journey with you.
As we face the coming days, may we be reminded that though the flames may destroy earthly possessions, they cannot touch the eternal hope and joy we have in Christ. Let us stand together, trusting in God's faithfulness and allowing His love to shine through us as a beacon of hope.
With love and prayers,
Pastor Johnson and Sis.Kim
